To help you connect the dots in what has felt like a journey into being ignored and your knowing ignored? ue to the nature of the work - there is no way to separate seeing from doing. New clients undergo an extensive initial intake and therapeutic assessment. This includes an ionic foot detox and evaluation of the results. We go over your medical history as well as injury/trauma background. This is your time to "tell your bartender everything" - all those things that there isn't time to tell your doctor. You initial session includes a client Journey Journal that includes - keeping your medical history accessible, provider data, pages to keep lab report data , tracking your symptoms, session notes and more. So you leave with tangible recommmendations and steps to take moving forward as well as things to stay hidrated as the IFD can cause a detox overload - and all your detox pathways may open. So bathing, water/coconut water/electrolites , skin care recommendations to help absorb releasing toxins etc. Your consultation will include treatment as a natural progression / process of the session. This is why we do not charge a separate consult fee any longer. 1st session may last well over an hour as there is a pre and post treatment time expected to explain more fully what was found or treated. Conversation and touch happen during sessions making sure that you are heard and understood. Consults last 1-2+ hours on average (up to 3). NOTE Sessions are paid in advance for new clients Painless Tractional Trigger Point Release (PTTPR (c)
"it doesn't have to hurt to heal." This work is NOT massage. It's finding and releasing the trigger points within the body. Finding the connected traction points and releasing deep issues. The neck and arms are extra prone to these types of tension issues - where trigger points and fascial tissues bind up. BodyMind Somatic Touch & Breath Release This is NOT massage but may incorporated in touch therapy. This is breath and trigger point activation/release work. The body will often undulate and creating a sense of undulation or vibration as it releases old carried energy knots. BioPsychoSomatic Therapy is designed for PTSD, Trauma , autonomic memory recovery etc It resets, releases and re-aligns energies, memories etc. |
Omsho Shamiana Care
What the body/mind needs 'now' Your first session is a blend of intake, assessment and therapeutic care. We blend touch therapy and may add any of the other services we provice. Intake 10-15 minutes Treatment is 45-50 minutes average occasionally longer. $200 USD 1st Session with consultation $150 USD follow-on sessions Ionic Foot Detox (IFD) Therapy
$60 per person (can treat 2 at once) Getting the Gunk Out! Literally! IFD therapy removes debris and heavy metals plus gives a clear picture of issues g0ing on in the body. From medicine reaction in the liver, kidney congestion, adrenal fatigue or distress, intestine leakage that can indicate food allergies to just poor absorption etc. You do not have to believe in it for it to work. Of course, that is the same with all our therapies. Belief is not required. This is a direct intervention / therapeutic process in which ions (which neutralize free radicals) are introduced into the body via the pores of the feet. What exits via the pores is "read" by experience and knowledge of body system. We have used this to care for those with gout on a regular basis to decrease uric acid load and decrease pain dramatically. Other auto immune conditions that may have some similar symptoms of gout also respond well to this therapy. We can identify and help many 'chronic' conditions such as candida, leaky gut , organ congestion, adrenal issues (great for a reset!) and on. We can identify bacterial or parasitic presence also. We also recommend an IFD procedure before chemotherapy appointments . We've worked with colon hydro therapists and naturopathic physicians in the past to help validate the finding and suspicions. More info (up to 60 min) Shockwave Therapy: This is a blend of TENS electrical stimulation therapy with the targeted precussion to reduce muscle tension, release scar tissue and adhesions and reduce pain. In-Light Near Infrared Therapy: Using nogliers and tonal frequencies in addition to light to help increase blood flow, decrease pain, redirect brain function etc. This therapy is also amazing on animals and helps with emotional trauma recovery as well as physical pain. Trauma includes confinement, abandonment etc. If an animal has been caged - rejected - neglected - that trauma can manifest in many ways. Polychromatic Light helps with this emotional / mental rebalancing. It also has a direct effect on the speed of injury healing as it increases tissue oxygenation. ories etc. Cranial IntraOral Therapy ~ treatment for TMJ and other cranial traumas such as whiplash or post oral surgery recovery. Ths is a very gentle treatment that will not go beyond 20 minutes as it's intense on the mind do to proximity to the "seat of knowing" . (20 min max) Pelvic Floor Release ~ Deep Psoas and fascial Release working within and around the pelvic region. (30 minute session max) Can be blended into a the pelvic/spine/hip triangle. Work can be intense but very affective. Avg 15-20 minutes |
What is Omsho Shamiana Bodywork?
Our bodies are a reflection of our experiences - both physical and mental. Our mind can help or hinder our healing process.
As we listen to your words as well as your body - often we will hear what you're failing to hear - or are ignoring. From pain related responses (oh it's not bad I can just push through) to past emotional/physical trauma response. This isn't always about abuse - it's not seeing the full picture of an injury. From falls to complex automobile accident injury. How the body/mind reacts to injury can be complex. We connect the dots between whatever original truama/injury happened to what is happening now to cause you pain.
"you were in a bicycle accident as a young person - and it shows up now as scar tissue issues from an untreated injury" - children aren't as unbreakable as they think.
"I had a/several car accident(s) that were treated" but . . . oh they missed that deep injury? Ah.
Omsho Somatic Bodywork sees the connections, the scars, the changes in how the body functions to help identify and resolve those old injuries. We also shift your mind into being willing / able to address and change - letting us work through the healing of the trauma experience.
We do NOT claim a psychotherapist roll - that is for other professionals. So we set healthy boundaries in care.
